Terms of use and medical warning
Choose a tool suited to the patient and situation. Check its population, eligibility conditions, variant, units and entered data. An incomplete result, a result outside the tool’s scope or one based on incorrect data must not be used as a valid score.
The calculators facilitate applying published methods to real or teaching cases. Results must be considered alongside all available clinical information and must never be the sole basis for a diagnostic or therapeutic decision. They do not replace patient assessment, professional judgement or applicable guidance and protocols. A reassuring result alone cannot rule out serious illness. The website provides neither continuous monitoring nor emergency care.
The patient case reuses compatible data across tools; it is not a saved medical record. Check reused data and criteria that still need to be completed. Review every copied note before adding it to a record or sharing it within an authorised setting.
Methods and limitations
Tool pages provide the principle, formula or scoring rules, limitations, references and version. Technical checks of the implementation do not, by themselves, establish the overall clinical validity of the website.
French and English wording may be local adaptations: they should not be confused with original instruments or officially validated translations. Consult each tool’s sources and attributions. A scientific reference does not imply its authors’ endorsement of MediScore360.
Availability and reporting issues
Errors and interruptions remain possible. The publisher may correct or update the service; check the displayed version when reusing a result. These terms do not exclude liabilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To report an issue or request a correction: contact@medlab.wf. Identify the tool, its version and relevant steps using fictional values. Do not send a patient’s identity, medical record or any screenshot that could identify someone.
Rights and references
Scientific references and limits specific to each tool appear on its page. Third-party instruments, publications and content remain subject to their authors’ rights. Some presentations and translations are local adaptations and are not described as official versions or as approved by their authors.
The MediScore360 name, logo and editorial content remain subject to applicable rights. Third-party software components retain their respective licences.
Privacy policy
MediScore360 is a MedLab service. Its calculators run in your browser. Clinical entries, unit preferences and technical website-visit data operate in different ways.
Controller and contact
Controller for website-visit and contact processing: Dr Yves BURCKEL, BP 653, Liku, 98600 Wallis. For data questions and rights requests: contact@medlab.wf. Publisher and hosting details appear in the legal notice above.
Clinical entries and results
Values, answers, results and notes are processed in page memory to calculate results and prepare copying. Within MediScore360’s calculation and patient-case modules, these entries are not sent to the server, saved in local preference storage or added to navigation links. This describes these modules; it does not, on its own, describe every website extension.
The case may remain available during internal navigation between tools or languages. Reloading resets entries. “New case” replaces the case; “Clear and close” removes it. Clearing one tool does not replace clearing the whole case. Some actions can be undone during the session: clearing a field therefore does not guarantee that every earlier value has disappeared from memory. The calculator imposes no maximum inactivity period.
On a shared device, use “Clear and close” for the case, then leave the page. Resetting the application does not guarantee deletion of copies made by the browser, operating system or other software.
Calculator forms do not ask for a patient’s first or last name. Do not enter direct identifiers or send patient records to the website contact. Leaving out a name does not automatically make data anonymous: values concerning an identifiable person may be health data even when processed locally. Professionals must follow the rules of their practice and organisation. Required data depend on the score; missing data may prevent calculation.
For teaching, prefer fictional cases. For real patients, the applicable framework depends on the professional’s practice and organisation; clicking “Calculate” is not patient consent. The professional and, depending on the organisation, their institution determine the purposes of clinical use, who may access the data and the conditions for reusing it in a record. They must establish the legal ground applicable to that use and, where a specific health-data rule applies, the corresponding condition. The publisher does not receive those entries through the calculation module and does not obtain patient consent on the professional’s behalf.
HFNC ROX uses individually entered contemporaneous measurements and a declared time since HFNC started; it does not reuse patient-case observations or initiate automatic monitoring.
Unit preferences
In Settings, “Remember my units on this device” is enabled by default and can be unchecked before selecting “Apply”. Applying settings with this option stores only profiles and units, without clinical values, under the local-storage key mediscore360.units.v1. Simply loading the page does not save new settings.
These preferences personalise the interface on later visits. The module sets no automatic expiry; preferences remain until removed or until the browser clears the site’s data. They are shared by users of this browser, without an account.
“Forget saved settings” removes their local copy, if the browser allows it, without changing active units. “Reset settings” prepares default settings to apply; it does not clear the case. You can apply units without remembering them. If storage is unavailable, units remain usable for the session.
Copying a note
Copying happens at your request. Text is transferred to the clipboard; if automatic copying fails, manual selection is offered. The operating system, its clipboard history and the receiving application then determine retention or synchronisation. Clearing the case does not delete these copies.
Website visits, storage and contact
Your browser communicates with the hosting infrastructure to load pages and resources. Local calculation does not remove this technical exchange.
Operation and security. Hosting receives the requests needed to display pages. Hostinger’s documentation describes HTTP logs including IP address, date, requested resource, browser information and response code. They support website delivery, error diagnosis and abuse prevention, based on the legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. Recipients are the publisher, authorised technical staff and Hostinger with its necessary subprocessors.
Hostinger processes data within the duration of the hosting service; its data processing agreement governs deletion when the service ends and legal exceptions. This contractual framework is not a uniform retention period for every log entry. For automatic backups, Hostinger states seven days for daily copies and six weeks for weekly copies. The plugin does not add the calculator’s local clinical entries to these website backups.
Cookies and audience measurement. Since 13 October 2026, insertion of Google Analytics code by Site Kit has been disabled on the website. Site Kit remains connected to Google services to display data already available. This suspension does not erase previously collected data or any cookies already present in your browser. It does not remove the technical hosting exchanges described above. Remembering units is not permission for advertising tracking. Reading this policy is not consent to a tracker.
Contact messages. Writing to contact@medlab.wf is optional. Your address and the relevant message content allow us to respond to your request, handle a report or follow it up; processing is based on the publisher’s legitimate interest in managing these exchanges. Recipients are the publisher, people authorised to handle the request and the email or technical-support providers needed to deliver and manage it.
The retention criterion adopted for correspondence is handling the request and completing any still-necessary follow-up. If a legal obligation or dispute justifies retaining evidence, only relevant material is concerned for the applicable period. These criteria do not describe automatic mailbox deletion. Send only necessary information, without patient records; without a way to reply, we cannot respond.
Locations and transfers. The website server is in Arizona, United States, as confirmed by the publisher on 13 October 2026. The contracting hosting provider is established in Cyprus. Support, backups and email delivery may involve other providers or countries; the server location is not a promise that all such processing stays in Arizona. Hostinger’s contractual framework specifies its subprocessors’ obligations and the clauses applicable to relevant transfers. For details about recipients or safeguards applicable to your request, or to ask for a copy, write to the data contact above.
Links to MedLab or scientific sources open websites whose processing is explained in their own notices.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, object to processing and exercise data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to the data contact above. Do not send medical records; proportionate identity verification may be needed where there is doubt. Information held only on your device cannot be retrieved from a calculator patient database.
You may submit a complaint to the CNIL and, where applicable law provides, to the supervisory authority where you live or work. France’s Data Protection Act contains provisions specific to Wallis and Futuna; being established outside the European Union does not mean data protection is absent.
