Canadian Syncope Risk Score
After assessment of true syncope; serious events at30days.
Canadian Syncope Risk Score
Principle
Sum of explicitly entered contributions; no default clinical value.
Scope
True syncope in a person ≥16 years, within 24 h. Use after complete emergency assessment, without an already identified serious cause; 30-day horizon.
Interpretation limits
Serious events at 30 days after initial assessment, without an already identified serious cause. Exclude loss of consciousness >5 min, incomplete mental recovery, obvious seizure, head trauma causing loss of consciousness, intoxication preventing history or trauma requiring admission. Missing ECG/troponin values were imputed normal in the study; this conservative pilot does not impute them. This software restriction is not an indication to measure every troponin. No automatic discharge, admission, investigation or treatment decision; no individual percentage.
Formula and logic
Sum of explicit contributions, without prior rounding.
